all brass bookholder with Indian motifs and Longfellow quotations. Attributed
to Bradley & Hubbard; identical bookholders are found with
the Bradley & Hubbard mark on the rail end piece. Brass rails allow holder
to adjust from 12 1/2 inches to 23 1/4 inches. The end plaques fold down.

antique bronze sculpture of a leaping setter. Unmarked, likely French, late 19th
century. Unusual pose, leaping with tongue out. Deeply chiseled, wavy fur. Beautiful,
rich patina in excellent condition. No scratches, damage, or repairs to the dog.
Original, pink marble base has minor chipping on the corners.
